If you like Lord of the Rings, but think several thousand pages are too much to handle, then the Hobbit is well worth a read.

The Hobbit is written in a much lighter tone than Lord of the Rings. Where LOTR emerces you into a deadly and serious world, the Hobbit it a light hearted adverture story of courage and a small create known as a Hobbit.

One of my favorite books and a perfect length for any reader.
